In 2003 Susan graduated from the National College of Art and Design with a BA in Art Design and Education. In 2005 her studies continued with a MA in Visual Communications. During her studies she held a lecturing tenure at the Faculty of Design, Griffith College Dublin.
Susan has experience in many fields including art, education and project management. Susan’s most recent role was as Office Manager and Comptroller for Atair Aerospace Inc., an aerospace engineering company specializing in precision airdrop systems in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to this Susan was contracted as Project Manager for Chico MacMurtrie and Amorphic Robot Works, Brooklyn, New York.
Susan is a practicing artist and has created kinetic devices and mechanisms for several years. Her awards include Dublin City Council Development grants in 2006 and 2007, the Belmontmill Studios Bursary Award 2006 and the Craft Fair of Ireland Award 2002.
