A simple circuit, switch, battery, wire and motor with a weight attached. All soldered together and fixed in to a plastic or cardboard body that uses colouring pens for legs. When switched on, the bot vibrates and draws as it walks. It takes about a half hour to make the bare bones of the bot. Arts and craft materials can then be used to personalize them. Participants are required to solder and hot glue their Artbot together. It takes two facilitators to run this workshop. Hot glue guns and soldering irons are used in the making process.
